In 2009 Robert Harris began his quest for a Master of Science degree at Eastern Kentucky University. Today, he is the Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach for the Arkansas Razorbacks football program. "I was fortunate enough to earn a Master's of Science degree in Physical Education with an emphasis in Sport Administration under the tutelage of a great team of professors," says Harris. "As a graduate student at EKU, most of my time was spent in the Moberly Building attending classes and preparing myself for a career in athletics.

In 2010 Harris spent a year long internship with the Cincinnati Bengals after which he was offered a job offer from the Bengals to be their assistant strength & conditioning coach. His talents were noticed by Arkansas and in January of 2013, Harris was invited to join their football program.

Harris credits the Sport Administration program at EKU and particularly Dr. Wardell Johnson with providing the mentorship needed along the way. In his words, "the power of maroon will always be in my heart." Harris, his wife Maria and two daughters Anaya and Alaya are now Razorbacks and prove that you can get there from here.
