Minor in Coaching (non-teaching)

This minor offers students a chance to build theoretical and practical knowledge in the area of coaching. Students take classes in coaching foundations, psychology of coaching, care and prevention of athletic injuries, CPR & first aid to establish a foundation of coaching theory, philosophy and practice. They also specialize in two major sport areas and take several sport units in team or individual and dual sports. A total of 20 hours is required for the coaching minor.
