Minor in Physical Education (non-teaching)

The minor in physical education (non-teaching) offers students a chance to increase the depth and breadth of disciplinary knowledge by learning both theory and skills related to physical education. A total of 18 credit hours are required as follows:

Six hours from theory courses:

PHE 300          Dance Activities in the Schools

PHE 305          Individual and Dual Sports I

PHE 306          Individual and Dual Sports II

PHE 340          Water Safety Instructor

PHE 345          Dance Choreography

PHE 435          Group Fitness Instruction

PHE 450          Modern Dance III
